When shallow water levels and stable bottom conditions exist, cost-conscious summer camp directors may choose to install leg type dock equipment.

Leg type docks make ideal boat docks and launches. Canoes, hobie cats and paddleboats, to name a few, work well when moored and launched from a stationary dock. Fishing piers, staff docks and observation piers are other uses that may be incorporated into your summer camp's overall waterfront operation.
